Joining in with the Christmas celebrations “over the border” does not mean a trip to Scotland or Wales! Why not join our neighbouring village in their Christmas event Ewell Yule? The event starts at 5pm and runs until 8pm on the 1st of December (Friday).
The road through the village is closed for the event and full of festive stalls and fun! The event has always been a big success and is organised by the Ewell Village Traders Association in conjunction with Epsom and Ewell Borough Council.
As usual Santa will be in attendance (it’s one of his favourite events as Ewell looks very “Christmassy”). There will be Craft Stalls, Carol Singers, Morris Dancers, Silver Band, Pantomime, Vintage Trains, Christmas Shopping, Live Music, Rides, Hog Roast, BBQ, Surrey Hills Radio and much more. All the traders shops, restaurants, coffee shops and pubs will be open and joining in the festive fun, it’s a great evening (that goes on well past the 8pm event close!).
There is free parking at Ewell’s two main car parks, but if you use public transport you can have a mulled wine or two! Ewell Yule on Ewell High Street can be reached from Chessington on the 406, 418 and 467 buses, it’s also a short walk from Ewell West train station.
